I sincerely believed in Jesus as a child, and always had him in my life. But I was not educated in the areas of purity. I did not have a filter for the culture, which was like quicksand all around me. So I walked into it.

As a young adult I eventually had a personal encounter with Jesus, in which he directly called me to change. I agreed, and the next day "accidentally" found a Bible. The Truths I read in it were illumined for me and immediately began to change me. I left my old social circle behind and committed fully to a life of following Jesus. 

The ONE area that opposed me from time to time, and that I found my most difficult area to conquer, was sexuality—especially in media. This began for me a painful, "wilderness journey," for which I am so grateful today! Each Truth I learned from God's Word was like a solid step up, all made possible by Jesus' sacrifice on the cross.

Eventually, I married, and my loving, wise and patient wife, Sonia, was a big boost from God to me. His strong, welcoming and rescuing hand was also. It is by HIS power that we can be pulled up to solid ground and stand upright on what I call, "the media cliff."

Over time, I became increasingly and extremely strong, through the transformation that happens by God's Word. I became "The Bondage Breaker," helping others to see the FREEDOM we have in Christ, to understand and walk in PURITY, and to SHINE. I wrote the books, "For Freedom" and "Shine."  I produced, "For Freedom Radio," "The Purity Forum," "The Purity Forum Broadcast," also "The Purity Challenge" for youth.

One day, I thought to myself, "What all would I need to teach, to help someone who wants to walk free from pornography or other sex traps? What do I know would work? This course, "On The Path of Purity," is the result. In it I cover 7 ESSENTIAL areas of Truth that, when applied, result in a stable, peaceful walk on the Path of purity.
